Innocent

In mid-18th century Paris, the infamous Sanson family is known as the executioners of France. Expelled from boarding school after relentless bullying, 14-year-old Charles-Henri Sanson, the family's fourth-generation heir, finds himself trapped in a legacy he never chose, expected to inherit a trade that society both loathes and fears.

Despite being soft-hearted and idealistic, Charles-Henri is forced to begin his grim training under his family’s high expectations, facing the moral and emotional trials that will define him. As he becomes the executioner of Paris, Charles-Henri must navigate through twisted love, family, and the harsh truths of a society ruled by cruel, decadent nobles.
