Kyo is an old friend of Asuka Tenma and a prodigy Cleaner. He calls his friends "family" and cherishes them. He likes cooking and sewing and dislikes waking up early. Unusually for a Cleaner, he seeks to foster harmony between humans and Digimon, leading him to covertly shelter apprehended Digimon at the hidden Nirinso Shelter instead of turning them over the Ministry of Civil Protection to be deleted. In order to keep them fed, he supplies them with his own e-Pulse, frequently leaving him anemic and fatigued.
