Minerva is a Mage of the currently strongest Guild in Fiore, Sabertooth. Minerva speaks in an archaic, old form of Japanese. Befitting her formal speech, she is also very mature and wishes that the people around act accordingly.
After the Grand Magic Games she joins the Dark Guild Succubus Eye.
She is later scouted as a new recruit to the Dark Guild Tartaros, where she partially transforms into a Demon known as Neo Minerva. After being rescued by Sting and Rogue, Minerva rejoins Sabertooth and changes for the better. One year later, she apologizes to Lucy for what she did to her at the Grand Magic Games.
