A childhood friend of Kanae's, he is an ordinary first-year high school student in every sense of the word.
He yearns to be a famous musician, but he has never even bothered to continue practicing his own instrument, and there is zero indication that he will ever be more than an ordinary person.
He is not a hill surfer, but a hill Musician, and quite a good-natured one at that.
